Why Cedar?
Cedar shoe trees, hangers, blocks and shapes play a vital role in protecting fine shoes and clothing. Aromatic cedar helps to repel moths and other insects. Because we don't coat our cedar with varnishes or lacquers, our all-natural shoe trees absorb moisture from footwear. Aromatic cedar also deodorizes with a forest-fresh scent
How long does it last for?
It lasts for months. If the smell is reducing, simply sand the cedar wood products to release the fresh woodsy aroma.
Is Cedarwood Safe?
Cedar wood and its oil have been used from 3000-4000 years ago to prevent or cure illnesses throughout the regions. Any kind of wood, including cedar wood, might be harmful to human health if its wood dust is inhaled in an enormous amount in a closed space such as a saw mill or a wood factory. But the normal use of cedar wood products is safe to the human body. No case has been reported to any government agencies or research institutions throughout the world regarding the health problems related to using a cedar wood. The only reason not to use Cedar would be if you were allergic, as for moths and insects it is a different story!
Is cedar wood ok for pets?
Cedar wood is not ideal for small pets such as hamsters and guinue pigs as it affects their respiratory system.
